From the Organizer
54th Annual Rockford Road Runners Turkey Trot is the oldest area race! The race has long been a fundraiser for the Rock River Valley Food Pantry, with many thousands of dollars having been raised over the years and continues that tradition this year. Our hope is that in signing up all will consider including a donation to support to the Rock River Valley Food Pantry.
The distance is listed as 5k. The distance is and always has been approximate. It is a trail race, there will be hills, rocks, hills, roots, hills, and probably more hills!
Packet pick up is day of from 7:15-8:45AM. Preordered shirts will also be available.
Things to know! Location: 7074 Rydberg Rd, Rockford, IL 61109 (this is the south entrance to Atwood Park) - Start: 9 a.m. mass start all runners! Event is chip timed again and is guess your time format. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! Signup online! Random finish line giveaways! Results will be posted on the RRR website "Results" page. Packet Pickups: pickup race bib on race day!
An option for a RRR 2026 Turkey Trot long sleeve race shirt will be offered when you register. Shirts are $27 each and will be ready for pickup the day of the race.
