Join us for the 21st Annual Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic for a 5k race along the beautiful Virginia Beach Boardwalk over Memorial Day Weekend! Flat out and back course. T-Shirts and medals will be awarded to all finishers. Plus enjoy the Coastal Edge Student Art Pavilion, and check out some of the best in pro and amateur surf with the Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic by Katin WSL 1000 surfing contest.
Runners will start the race on the boardwalk at 2nd street. The race will run north to 24th street and return back to 2nd Street. There will be water stations at the start/finish line and at the turnaround.
Parking is available in the 2nd street lot close to the start. There are also metered spaces available on the cross streets.
Race will be held on Sunday, May 24th at 7 a.m. Packet Pick up will be held on Thursday May 21st from 5pm to 7pm at Coastal Edge @ 316 21st street Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Race packets can also be picked up between 6am and 6:30am at the start line race morning.
