HOORAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS! The Crescent City Classic will hold their holiday run/walk in beautiful Lafreniere Park on Saturday, December 5, 2026 (start time is 4pm). The 2-mile course takes you through Lafreniere Park during their annual Christmas in the Park Lights Display. The park is decorated with over 10 million LED lights. The park's festive displays include traditional Christmas lighted figures, the 60 foot Sea Serpent in the lagoon, and many NOLA favorites! The event is filled with gumbo, hot chocolate, beer and other refreshments, photos with Santa, a holiday costume contest, and much more!
The Christmas in Lafreniere Park Run/Walk is especially popular among families. Run competitively or enjoy a leisurely walk through the park with friends and family. Participants can enjoy free refreshments and complimentary entry into both the Christmas in the Park Lights Driving Tour AND the Walking Tour of the beautifully lighted Pavilion Island BEFORE the gates are open to the general public!
What do I receive with my registration? All registrants will receive a festive glow-in-the-dark shirt (children's sizes available), race bib, and a complimentary EARLY entrance into the Christmas in Lafreniere Park driving and walking tour Lights Display.
