Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk is a running race on March 13, 2027 in Simpsonville, SC, with an entry fee of $19.
From the Organizer
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with an Irish red 🌈
“A flat, fast 5K on a shamrock-strewn path, starting right at the Bridgeway Station entrance and climbing up and over the iconic Bridgeway Station Bridge before settling onto the Swamp Rabbit Trail. It starts at eleven in the morning, which is late enough to sleep in and early enough that the beer at the finish still counts as brunch.
Five kilometers is the distance most people can talk a friend into, and this is the version of it built for exactly that — paved, flat, forgiving, with one bridge to give the photos some drama. Come dressed for the day. Green is encouraged, and it has never once been the strangest thing anyone wore to this race.
Packet pickup opens 90 minutes before the gun, and there is a pre-run beer waiting for anyone who wants one. Afterward, free beer at the finish for participants 21 and over, live music, event-themed giveaways, complimentary race photos, and a finisher medal. Your entry supports local nonprofits through the Giving Series.
