The Charlottesville Ten Miler is Central Virginia's premiere foot race, offering a scenic and challenging route through the heart of this historic city. Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking to tackle your first long-distance race, this event is the perfect way to experience the beauty and spirit of Charlottesville.
Established in 1976, the Charlottesville Ten Miler is the area's oldest and most prestigious footrace. Widely considered to be the "most scenic urban course" in the state, this rolling tour of Charlottesville brings runners through Jefferson's beautiful University of Virginia "grounds," up Rugby Road, down Preston Avenue, up the historic Downtown Mall, around Court Square, and through the gorgeous Park Street neighborhoods, pass historical coal towers, up Main Street and by the famous UVA "Corner." The Charlottesville Ten Miler is an official Charlottesville Track Club race.
