Centerville Bank Thompson Turkey Trot

Centreville Bank Thompson Turkey Trot 5k Trail Race & 3k Walk will be on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the West Thompson Dam in Thompson, CT. Join us for Thompson's annual cross country run or walk. Open to all ages. Under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Age divisions: 12 and under, 13 - 18, 19- 29, 30 - 29, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+.
Bring your family, friends, co-workers, form a team and participate in this fun event.  

COSTUMES ENOURAGED! Dress in festive Thanksgiving & Turkey gear! 
Awards for overall top female and male and top three male and female runners in each age group. 

Proceeds of this event support Thompson trails, Parks & Recreation, and TEEG food pantry!

Registration/Check-in begins: 8:30 AM
5K Trail Race and 3K Walk start-time. 3K-9:45 AM/10 K10:00 AM
Age Groups - 12 yrs and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Children 12 & under walk for free unless they wish to purchase a T-shirt, then they will need to register and pay the $25 registration fee. IF CHILD IS RUNNING 5K Chip-timed race, REGISTRATION FEE IS REQUIRED. Must be accompanied by an adult. 

Registration Info
Registration fee is $25 (includes t-shirt) on or before 10/31. Registrations taken after this point will not include a t-shirt.
Registrations will be accepted online here and in the office until Friday 11/6 at noon. Day of event registration will be open starting at 8:30 AM until 15 minutes prior to the start of the race. The cost is $30 payable with cash or check.

Awards
5K award to the first male and female runners overall.
5K awards to top three male and three females in each age category. 12 yrs and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Award to team with most members.
Award to school with most members.

Location/Directions
The race/walk is held at West Thompson Dam Overlook Shelter in Thompson, CT.
Directions: From north or south, Route 395, exit 50, turn onto Rte. 200 East. Follow to stop sign. Turn right onto route 193. At stop light continue straight onto West Thompson Road. Go over the dam. Thompson Dam Overlook Shelter gate will be 1st right after the Army Corps garage parking lot. Shelter gate will be 1st right after the Army Corps garage parking lot
