Join us on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for the return of the Carry the Fallen 5K and Half Marathon at the Active Heroes Retreat in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Held on the Saturday before Veterans Day, Carry the Fallen is a legacy Active Heroes event created to honor and support the men and women who have served our country. Both races will feature a unique hybrid course combining wooded trails and gravel roads throughout the beautiful Active Heroes property.
Most of the course miles will take runners along peaceful wooded trails, creating a challenging and fun race experience.

Registration Fees
5K: $35
Half Marathon: $50
Registration for both races includes an official Carry the Fallen tech shirt and a commemorative Carry the Fallen dog tag.
The deadline to guarantee your tech shirt is October 24, 2026.

Top Overall Male and Female in the 5K
Top Overall Male and Female in the Half Marathon
The overall male and female Half Marathon winners will each receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
The overall male and female 5K winners will each receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
Active Heroes is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving military members, veterans, and their families. The organization is operated by volunteers, and all profits from the Carry the Fallen 5K and Half Marathon will help provide programs, services, and support for military and veteran communities.
