Findlay Beer Chase 5K- Benefitting the Braden Kramer Foundation
TO GUARANTEE A SHIRT REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY October 1, 2026! Registration will remain open until race day, but after the 1st a shirt is not guaranteed due to order and printing schedule, however we do plan to order a few extras.
Join us on Saturday, November 14th at 10AM for a timed 5K that starts and ends at Findlay Brewing Co.. While you are running, be sure to chase down the "beer!" The runners who successfully finish the 5K before the "beer" will receive an entry to win a $50 Gift Card to Dave's Running and $50 Gift Card to Findlay Brewing. Winner must be present at the race for the drawing. All proceeds from this event will benefit The Braden Kramer Foundation. More information on the organization can be found at www.bradenkramer.org
East Crawford St. will be closed during the event. The course map can be viewed under photos. Registration for the 5K includes race timing, race shirt, and voucher for pint of beer at Findlay Brewing Company the day of the event (must be 21 or over to receive the beer voucher).
In addition to the 5K, there will also be a kids "Super Hero Dash." This event will begin at 9:30 AM and will take place on E. Crawford St. Bring your kids, wear your favorite Super Hero Costume, and blast through the finish line! Prizes will be awarded to each participant of the "Super Hero Dash."
The top male and female runner of the 5K will each receive a $100 gift card Dave's Running. There will also be the addition of age group awards this year. The top male and female of each age group will receive a prize. Age Group Awards: Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
Important Info: This is an OPEN course, meaning roads will NOT be closed for the event. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations. The route is primarily on road, sidewalks, and paved trail along with a Findlay Police Department guide vehicle. This is a stroller friendly route, however please be aware of sidewalk elevation changes throughout. The route will begin and end at Findlay Brewing Co. and head out on Main St., along the Blanchard River, through Riverside Park, and back down Sandusky St. to Findlay Brewing Co. There will be volunteers along the route to help direct runners. This event is a rain or shine event, so please dress appropriately. East Crawford St. will be closed the morning of the event for our sponsor tables, packet pickup, and our kids "Super Hero Dash." Please remember to bring a valid ID or driver's license as the race is open to all ages, you will need to be 21 to enjoy the post run beer.
