The 38th annual Bill’s Beer Run (BBR) is a 5-mile road race that takes place Oct 25th on Casey Key, hosted each year by the Manasota Track Club (MTC).
This year's race is LIMITED TO 500 RUNNERS.
Registrations after September 1 are not guaranteed to get a shirt at all.
This renowned 5-Mile Run was started in 1988 by MTC member Bill Menard as the sole fundraiser for our non-profit organization, and it continues to be a highlight of the running year for our local population. Your membership fees and the proceeds from BBR are the only means of fundraising the MTC does.
This longstanding club event sells out quickly and is limited to 500 runners. MTC members enjoy the perk of early registration ensuring they secure their spots. (Non-member registration opens on Aug 1st - if there are any remaining spots.) Long touted as “the most fun you can have running five miles!” AMAZING race course along the Gulf of Mexico, Halloween weekend, BEER, great race shirts, costumes, 10-deep age group awards, DJ, costume contests, BEER, dancing, hot-dogs, BEER and more!

Non-member registration opens on Aug 1. Non-member registration price is $150.
Want to be in a BBR mood all month long, then the Pub Run series is for you!! Your PUB RUN registration includes RACE ENTRY to the BBR 5 Miler on 10/25 AND ENTRY to the 3 or 4 Pub Runs leading up to race day. The Pub Run Series is limited to 100 people and takes place in the month of October. Pub Runs will take place on Thursdays. The Pub Runs give members a chance to run together at different bars around the area, win swag, and socialize, all while supporting the club’s mission to give back to the community while encouraging healthy physical activity.
Limited to 25 SUPER-SPECIAL MTC members. The VIP package includes: BBR race registration, the Pub Run Series, 10 raffle tickets, special swag (could be a shirt, could be a hat, whatever it is it'll be COOL!) and special VIP treatment on race day including reserved parking on race morning, recognition at the event and knowing that YOU helped to contribute to the student scholarships program.
