Big Red Chair Triathlon and 5k Race

Super Sprint Triathlon (ages 8and up) includes:

• 200yd pool swim at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center
• 4mile bike ride 
• 5k run 

Kid's Micro Mini (8 years and younger) includes:

• 50yd pool swim
• 2 mile bike ride
• Half mile run

Race Day Information

What to Bring for Each Athlete

  Bicycle
  Bicycle helmet (required)
  Shirt (with race bib pinned on the front) or bib belt.
  Socks & Running shoes
  Towel
  Swimming goggles & swim cap (optional)

Arrival & Parking: Parking areas available at the facility and surrounding areas (Civic Center). No street parking. 

Check-In: At the front of the facility upon arrival.

Opening Ceremony: Begins at 6:45 AM – we will go over the race-course and event details

Swim:

• Athletes should arrive wearing their swimsuits.
• Athletes exit the pool and transition to the bike racks.

Bike:

• Participants will put on their helmet.
• They will complete a marked bike loop before transitioning to the final run.

Run:

• It is recommended that the athletes wear running shoes to participate in 5k

Results & Photos:

• Finishing times will be recorded using race bibs – bibs must be worn on the front of shirts.
• Results and photos will be posted on Florida Race Day’s Facebook page: Florida Race Day Facebook

Registration Refund Policy

Full Refund (100%)
Participants are eligible for a full refund if:

The cancellation request is received 30 or more calendar days before the event date.
The event is canceled by the organizer and no rescheduled date is offered.

Partial Refund (50%)
Participants are eligible for a 50% refund if:

The cancellation request is received 15 to 29 calendar days before the event date.
The remaining amount covers administrative costs, processing fees, event materials, and planning expenses that have already been incurred.

No Refund (Registration Forfeited)
No refunds will be issued if:

The cancellation request is received 14 calendar days or fewer before the event.
The participant fails to attend the event ("no show").
The participant is disqualified for violating event rules or conduct policies.
The participant is unable to participate due to illness, injury, work conflicts, travel delays, weather concerns, or other personal circumstances.

How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email. The date the request is received will determine refund eligibility. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 to 15 business days to the original method of payment.

This policy provides participants with reasonable flexibility while recognizing that race expenses such as shirts, medals, timing services, permits, insurance, and supplies are committed well before race day.
