Join us for the Back the Blue Run ,1-Mile Fun Run, 5k, and 10k race, a family-friendly community event dedicated to strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the communities we proudly serve. Whether you're an experienced runner, a casual walker, or simply looking for a fun way to spend the day with family and friends, everyone is welcome.
The Back the Blue Run is more than just a race- its a celebration of service, unity, and the people who make our communities stronger. Together we honor the dedication of first responders while encouraging positive relationships between law enforcement and the public through fitness, fun, and fellowship.
Join us Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Christmas Hill Park and be part of a tradition that brings our community together- one step at a time.
About the Course:
The route will begin at Christmas Hill Park (Ranch Side) and continues along the Uvas Creek Levee Trail. There will be visibly marked turnaround points for runners. The course is mainly flat and paved, offering a beautiful scenic route.

Race Packet Options
T-shirts and bibs will be available for in person pickup on Friday November 6 at the parking lot north of the Gilroy Police Department at 3PM-7PM. Participants may also pick up t-shirts and bibs race day check-in beginning at 7:00AM on Saturday November 7 at Christmas Hill Park (Ranch Side).
Participants may pick up race packets for other registered runners with approval and verification from the registrant.
