The Inaugural Alpaquita Ranch Fluff the Halls 5K & Holiday Festival is coming to Monte Alto for a one-of-a-kind Christmas celebration where running, alpacas, Highland cows, live music and holiday magic come together!
And this isn't just a 5K.
It's a full day at the ranch.
Start your morning by running alongside friends and family in the inaugural Fluff the Halls 5K, then stick around and experience everything that makes Alpaquita Ranch one of the Rio Grande Valley's most unique destinations.

FLUFF THE HALLS 5K
A festive holiday 5K Run/Ruck designed for runners, walkers, families and everyone who simply wants to have some fun! Chip timed, participant t-shirt (if registered by 10/23/26 at 5:00PM), trophies for top male/female, age group awards: 1-7, 8-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65+, and raced themed bibs.
ALPACAS & HIGHLAND COWS
Get up close with the stars of the ranch and experience these amazing animals in their home environment.
CHRISTMAS TREE SEASON OPENING WEEKEND
We're kicking off the Christmas tree season! Come make Alpaquita Ranch part of your family's Christmas tradition.

Last year's Christmas celebration at Alpaquita Ranch transformed the property into a holiday destination featuring Christmas trees, music, vendors, Santa, food, drinks, kids activities and plenty of alpaca magic. This year, we're adding a 5K to the experience and kicking off Christmas tree season with a celebration the entire family can enjoy.
