Get ready for the Second Annual ALFA Kids Triathlon on Saturday, June 5, 2027 at the Meadville Area Recreation Complex! Designed for ages 6–13, this fun, beginner-friendly event gives kids the chance to swim, bike, and run in a safe and supportive environment. Whether your child is trying a triathlon for the very first time or already loves being active, the ALFA Kids Tri is all about building confidence, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and celebrating every young athlete as they cross the finish line. Every participant will receive a finisher medal and the unforgettable experience of being part of Meadville’s newest youth sporting tradition!
The race will be split into two age groups (6-9 years old and 10-13 years old) with separate distances. The older group will go first. Register your child based on his/her age at the time of the race.
Ages 6–9: 50-yard swim, 2-mile bike, ½-mile run
Ages 10–13: 100-yard swim, 3-mile bike, 1-mile run
