5K & Fun Run for LIFE

Join us for Chester County Connect Care's Annual 5K & Fun Run for LIFE on Saturday, November 8th, 9 AM (registration opens at 8 AM) at Hibernia Park - Pavilion 5 in Coatesville, PA!  This incredible event is open to all levels of runners and walkers - including beginners, and we encourage you to bring your pups!!

Fundraising takes real commitment to our mission, so we want to celebrate your successes.  Started in 2024, CCCC will recognize INDIVIDUALS/TEAMS through your cumulative fundraising efforts.  The more you raise, the more additional levels you can earn - individually and as a team.  Join the CCCC Fundraising Club today!

Our total Fundraising Goal for 2025 is $65,000!  All funds raised (after expenses) will support our ongoing mission of providing free quality medical, educational, and material support to at-risk women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Our goal is that every person who comes to Chester County Connect Care be empowered and equipped with the medical care, resources, education, and support they need to raise healthy, happy children in stable, loving home environments. All of these services are provided free of charge. All funds raised for this event, including sign-up costs and donations, support this mission.

5K Course

The 5K course is located on road and gravel.  The paved surface contains low-grade inclines and declines and meanders through trees and around the campgrounds in beautiful Chester County, Hibernia Park.  The clock will begin at the start of the 5K race and participants' times will be recorded via chip timer.  

The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk will occur 15 minutes after the 5k start time. The Fun Run/Walk will begin at Pavilion 5 and run straight (flat roadway) out to the gate at Cedar Knoll Road and return to Pavilion 5.  The family-friendly activity will not be timed.  All participants will receive a free t-shirt.  

Family and friends are invited to attend this community event along with the participants.  The park features a playground, and a variety of concessions and children's games will be available free of charge. We welcome strollers and pets!

Race Day Schedule

• 8:00 AM – Check-in/Registration OPENS, Petting Zoo, Cheer Zone, and pre-race breakfast goodies available!
• 8:30 AM - Welcome announcements and "Why We Run for LIFE"
• 8:40 AM - Diaper Derby!
• 9:00 AM – 5K starts; or opt for the easy-breezy 1-Mile Fun Run (or walk) that starts right after!
• 10:30 AM - Awards for top finishers and "Fun"-raisers (individual/teams)
• 11 AM - Event ends.
