From the Organizer
Join Crisis Services of North Alabama on Thanksgiving morning for the 33rd Annual Turkey Trot 5K.
Run, walk, stroll, or trot with family, friends, and neighbors on a USATF-certified course — the same route used for the HTC Twilight Run.
Turkey Trot is fun, festive, and family-friendly. It also helps Crisis Services of North Alabama provide crisis counseling, emergency domestic violence shelter, advocacy, forensic exams, safety planning, and resource connections at no cost.
Kids ages 5 and under can join the Tiny Tot Turkey Trot, a 100-yard dash at 9:00 a.m. with Tina Turkey, our hilariously huge turkey mascot.
No advance registration needed. No cost to participate. Just show up and have fun.
Weather: The race will only be canceled if weather conditions create a safety risk for participants. If the race is canceled, there will be no rescheduling or refunds, and your registration will be considered a contribution to our mission.
Race T-Shirts: Race t-shirts will be distributed during Bib Pickup while supplies last. Shirt sizes collected during registration help us estimate our order, but shirts and specific sizes are not guaranteed. Race registration does not guarantee a race t-shirt.
Timing: The race is timed by RunningLane using RFID chips in your bib. Your time begins when you cross the starting line.
