AMCFF is proud to announce the first ever Running Con Ganas 5K, taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Los Angeles Mission College. This inspiring community run will bring together students, families, and neighbors to celebrate health, determination, and educational opportunity.
“Ganas” — the Spanish word for “desire, drive, and motivation” — reflects the spirit of this event. All fitness levels are welcome to participate in the 5K, which will weave through the scenic LA Mission College campus and surrounding areas.
Running With Purpose
The AMCFF “Running Con Ganas” 5K is more than just a race — it’s a movement to:
Promote health, wellness, and community pride
Encourage students and families to engage in active lifestyles
Raise funds to support the 2027 AMCFF Scholars, providing financial assistance and resources to deserving students
Runners will receive a medal and timed bib!
