2026 Kindness Matters Walk is a running race on November 26, 2026 in Fullerton, CA, with an entry fee of $20.
From the Organizer
We are excited to invite you to join us for the 10th Annual Kindness Matters Walk (KM Walk) - a milestone year for a community tradition built on hope, gratitude, and action. In 2026, participants can join us in person on Thanksgiving morning in Fullerton, CA, or participate virtually from wherever you are. However you choose to take part, every step helps carry Katie's legacy forward. All participants are encouraged to register online in advance of the walk.
The virtual walk makes it easy for friends, families, companies, and community groups to participate on their own schedule, anytime, anywhere. Participants can complete their own 5K by walking, running, rollerblading, biking, kayaking, pushing a stroller - or choosing any activity that moves you. On Thanksgiving morning, participants can also join virtually as we kick off the holiday with a live-streamed celebration featuring giveaways, contests, speakers, and more.
Post pictures of you/your group as you do your activity virtually or in person, and post to Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag "#KMWalk2026" - we would love to see you!
Registration is simple - just click the "Sign Up" button to start your registration process. Register yourself or others in your family/group - and please create or join an existing team if you'd like. Registration is $20 per person ($10 for ages 0-18). Each participant will have the option during the registration process to select an "add on" walk shirt. The add-on purchase options will only be available until: 10/31/2026.
You also have the option to make a donation directly to the KM Legacy Fund at the Orange County Community Foundation - another great way to support the KM Legacy Foundation! (optional)
Kindness is cool ... and so are our sponsors! You will see our event sponsors on the screens during registration. Please help support these companies/groups as they have so generously supported the KM Legacy Foundation. Thank you sponsors!
Proceeds from the KM Walk support brain tumor research at a national level, and young adult leadership development opportunities locally in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District.
