Please join us on Thanksgiving morning for the Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run in the city of Green! For the past 13 years, the Green Professionals Association (GPA) has presented the Turkey Trot; this year, it will be presented by the Green Family YMCA.
-All proceeds from the Turkey Trot will benefit the Green Family YMCA community. Because of donations and support from the community, the Y is able to offer financial assistance to those who need it, so that everyone who wants to be a part of the Y can be, regardless of their ability to pay.
Event: 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Where: 1737 Steese Rd. Green, Ohio 44685. This is at the Green Memorial Stadium. Exit Route 241 at Steese Rd. Please park at the stadium before 7:20am. The school parking lots will be closed for the day. All traffic after 7:20 will be directed to Town Park Center.
When: Thursday, November 26th, 2026, at 7:30AM (1 mile) and 8:00AM (5K).

Packet Pick-Up:
Early Packet Pickup (Highly Recommended) between November 13th – November 25th @ Green Family YMCA located at 3800 Massillon Rd, Green, OH 44685
Monday- Thursdays- 6am – 8pm
Fridays- 6am – 7pm
Saturdays- 8am – 4pm
Sundays- 1pm – 4pm

Thursday, November 26th from 6:30 am – 7:15 am.
RACE DAY PARKING: The stadium parking lot will be closed.
Please park at the Middle School/CORE: 1711 Steese Rd. Green, OH 44685 lot or at the Central Administration Building (or anywhere along Town Park Blvd.).
Please note that Town Park Blvd. will be closed at 7:15 am. After 7:15 am, all cars will be directed to the Middle School/CORE parking lot.
West bound traffic on Steese Rd. will be restricted from 7:30 am until 8:15 am. Please plan accordingly.
Please note that the stadium will not open until 6:30 am on November 26th.
Awards: 5K: Prizes for top 3 Male & Female in each class and top 3 Male & Female Overall. Age brackets are-14 & under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up. 1 Mile: Top 4 finishers.
