18TH Annual
18th Annual Fawn Lake Adult and Youth Triathlons is a triathlon race on August 29, 2027 in Spotsylvania, VA, with entry fees from $50 to $180.
Triathlon is seen as a niche sport for elite athletes competing at a high level. At the Fawn Lake Triathlon, we like to think that paradigm can be expanded. Imagine an event that sees three generations of a family competing on one day. Add to that, the entire Fawn Lake Community shows up! In 2026 we had 130 volunteers on the course, ensuring safety and supporting the athletes.
Finally, you will never find a better course on which to compete. You will get a pristine lake, gentle rolling hill ride on traffic-free roads and a fast, shady run course. If you want the perfect triathlon as a 1st timer or experienced racer, “Tri” Fawn Lake!

Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think. Three sports in one race means three movements to train and race day never gets monotonous.
