From the Organizer
We are thrilled to share that our 14th annual ~Lap the Lake~ Road Race & Walk has been scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026! ~Lap the Lake~ is a major fundraising event which helps fund all of the free youth health & wellness programming that NOW is able to offer the community.
We invite you to “Lap the Lake” with a scenic 5K run & walk along private roads surrounding pristine Alexander’s Lake in Dayville, CT. This family-friendly event also invites kids to participate in our annual Kids Fun Run. The 5K race starts and finishes at The Lake Tavern in Dayville! Live broadcast with WINY Radio and professional photography.
We will have a fun filled race festival following the 5k to celebrate the accomplishment!
Proceeds from this event allow NOW to provide youth social, emotional, and physical wellness opportunities such as sports, nutrition and fitness education to the families in the Quiet Corner of CT. We are incredibly thankful for the support that we have received from the community, our sponsors, and our donors!
