From the Organizer
Our 12th Annual 5K race is a fundraiser for the nonprofit youth program, Edwardsville Wrestling Club. EWC's Mission is to enrich the lives of our wrestlers and their families through the sport of wrestling.
The 5K race starts at Edwardsville High School, follows MCT trails, and leads back to the Jon Davis Wrestling Center. Awards will be given to the Top 3 finishers in their respective categories (Male & Female 10&Under, 11-12, 13-15, 16-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, and 55+). There will also be trophies and gift card prizes for the Top Male and Female finishers.
The Kids Obstacle Course Fun Run will start immediately following awards. The obstacle course will be run around the Jon Davis Wrestling Center with 5 obstacles(including a bounce house!). Runners will be separated by age groups. Each participant will get a medal after completing the course.
Our post race party will consist of games, hot chocolate, popcorn, and bounce house!
