Join us for the annual WVU Hospitals East Foundation's Bob Baronner Apple Trample 5K as part of the Apple Harvest Festival activities!
It's a fun morning of running and walking with family, friends and even your beloved four-legged friends can join in the fun.
Proceeds raised support the WVU Hospitals East Foundation Cancer Comfort Fund, which provides resources and assistance to cancer patients.
RACE COURSE
RACE NOW STARTS and FINISHES in the same location! War Memorial Park on Tennessee Ave in Martinsburg.
COURSE: The route starts at War Memorial Park. The course takes you through the neighborhood and out to a left on King Street and follows the Apple Harvest Parade Route. From King Street, the route turns left on Maple Ave to right on Burke Street to right on Queen Street. Runners/Walkers will turn around at the corner of Queen and Stephen St and head back to the park.
POST-RACE CELEBRATION
At the finish line you will enjoy a post-race party and awards ceremony featuring local apples and other goodies. Awards to the top male and female runners plus the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female winners within each age group will receive an award immediately following the race.

Overall top Man and Woman (Overall winners will be excluded from age group awards.)
Age Groups 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for both male and female.
Age groups include: <9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, >70
NEW* A youth that participates from a stroller (for all or part of the event) will not be considered a timed participant and will not be eligible for any awards.
TIMING
All runners and walkers will be timed.

Registration starts at War Memorial Park at 7:30am
PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pickup will only take place on Race Day Morning at War Memorial Park.
RACE PROCEEDS SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY
The Apple Trample 5K benefits the WVU Hospitals East Foundation Cancer Comfort Fund and Cancer Services, helping provide financial assistance and critical resources to community members battling cancer. Proceeds also support the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Committee and its community impact initiatives. Supporting the Apple Trample 5K is a fun way to promote the health and wellbeing of our community!
