Join the Prince Georges' Running Club (PGRC) for its historic, fun, flat 8K race on Saturday, December 5th 2026 in College Park, MD at 9 a.m.
The Wright stuff 8K is a celebration of the Wright brother’s first flight which happened on December 17, 1903. This fun race starts across the historic College Park Airport, the world’s oldest continuously operated airport!
Looking for new friends to train with? Sign up for our 8K training program, designed to prepare participants for this race.
Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (male, female, and non-binary) and top finisher in their age group.
Registration will closes on Friday, December 4, 2026, at 7:59 p.m.
Prince George's Running Club members will save $5.00 on their registration fee. If you're not a member, please consider becoming one before registering for the race.
The race premium will be guaranteed to the first 100 registrants.
