Brevard Zoo’s Inaugural Winter Sprinter 3K
Join us for the Zoo's inaugural Winter Sprinter 3K! Let the twinkle of holiday lights be your guide as you take a jolly jog through the Zoo during this magical family friendly evening race. Runners and walkers of all ages can enjoy the spirit of the season as they pass holiday light displays along the Zoo-wide course.
Race Details
Date: December 22, 2026
Start Time: 5:30 p.m.
The course has a one-hour time limit, beginning when each participant starts the race. Participants who do not complete the course within their designated time may be escorted off the course.
Water and Gatorade will be available along the route and at the start/finish area.
Awards & Swag
Prizes will be awarded to:
Top 10 overall male finishers
Top 10 overall female finishers
Top 10 male finishers in the 11-and-under division
Top 10 female finishers in the 11-and-under division
All finishers will receive a beautiful winter-themed medal and commemorative running hat!
Race shirts will also be available for purchase for $20 each when registering online prior to the event.
Packet Pickup
A pre-race packet will be emailed approximately one week before the event and will include everything you need to know about packet pickup and race morning.
There will be three in-person packet pickup opportunities for athletes to choose from. Dates, times, and locations will be provided in the pre-race packet.

Online registration closes Friday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m.
This race has limited entries and is expected to sell out, so register today to secure your spot!

Virtual Event Instructions
If you are registered for the virtual run, everything is done electronically, you do not need to come to packet pickup or race day.
Please submit the following information to smoothrunningorg@gmail.com. Once we receive the required information, your packet will be mailed to you.
First Name, Last Name, Mailing Address, Proof of Distance.
*All of our medals are finisher medals. We will not mail any packets out until we receive proof that the distance was completed.
