Charlotte is an official We ❤️ Teachers 5K Worldwide city. Our Charlotte in-person celebration will take place on March 13, 2027, carrying the spirit and mission of the National Day to Move for Education forward into spring.
Educators & the community coming together to run, laugh, dance & appreciate good health. You don't have to run -you can walk, you can watch, you can cheer, you can sponsor and you can volunteer! However you decide to participate, you're going to have fun! For the past 14 years, we have worked with teachers to improve their health and wellness.
Registration is available on race morning via QR code. Credit card or Debit card only. No cash or checks.
The race will be held in beautiful McAlpine Park in Charlotte. If you can't make it, but still want to support the cause, sign up for the Virtual Race.
All 5K participants receive T-shirts & Finisher Medals. T-shirts will be handed out after the race.
Race will be chip timed.
Award Categories: Overall Male and Female. Top 3 Male and Female - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
New Awards for this year:
- Most School Spirit (School with highest participation)
- Fastest Teacher (Male & Female)
- Team Champion (Lowest average time - Minimum Team Size is 4 - form your team)
- Legacy Award - Best Parent-Child Duo Time
There will be music, food and prizes. Form a team and COMPETE!
