We invite you to join us at Valnova in Eagle for a Turkey Trot on November 21st, starting at 9:00 AM with the help from our friends at Fleet Feet Treasure Valley
Our route will start and end at the Trail Head Pavilion in front of the Glencara Recreation Village at Valnova.
Registration starts at 8:00 AM, followed at 9:00 AM by a 1 Mile Fun-Run for ages 12 and under and their favorite adult(s), and a 5K Run/Walk starting promptly at 9:30 AM.
We encourage you to wear your best Thanksgiving attire, and will have prizes for the best-dressed participants in each race.
We love our community and love giving back--so will be raising some funds for the Boise Rescue Mission. While registration is free, we encourage a $10 donation (or more if you feel inclined) to help support their programs.
The Boise Rescue Mission Ministries provides food, shelter, clothing, and opportunities to recover from homelessness for men, women, and children in need. Because of the kindness and generosity of the community for over 68 years, the Mission has been able to and continues to serve homeless individuals of the Treasure Valley. The Mission currently has three emergency shelters as well as multiple food and clothing resources, addiction and veteran services, counseling and medical resources, and more.
