Campus Recreation is proud to present the Valley View Mike Donahue Memorial 5 Miler hosted at Hydaway Outdoor Center on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The 5 Mile trail race is the 2nd race in the Fall Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The course is run on single track trails and mountain roads along the Liberty Mountain Trail System.
This race is a partnership with the Liberty University Military Affairs department to show all our support to those who serve. In memory of Major Mike Donahue, the event is specifically meant to honor and remember this man who made such a positive impact in the community and at Liberty University.

LOCATION | Hydaway Outdoor Center
DISTANCE | 5 miles
START TIME | 9 A.M. (with a special Pre-Race Ceremony at 8:40am)
PACKET PICKUP | November 6 – LaHaye Rotunda from Noon-6 P.M. | November 7 – Hydaway from 8-8:45 A.M. (before the race)
T-SHIRT | Featured giveaway t-shirt is guaranteed before Oct 29th registration. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.
AWARDS | Awards will be given to the top 3 male & female overall winners, top 3 male & female in each age group, and top male & female masters (>40 years of age) overall winners. Overall awards will be ranked by gun time, age group awards will be ranked on chip time.
Door prizes will also be given out throughout the event.
