Join us for a scenic run around Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland, Florida to benefit Common Ground Park – a park where children of varying abilities can explore and discover with imaginative play experiences. The Rotary Clubs of Lakeland have worked together to support this park since its inception and proceeds from this annual race support the ongoing maintenance. Course: The first mile of the race will be run in Lake Hollingsworth Drive. Stay in the road until directed to move onto the path near Success Avenue.
Early packet pickup will be in Fleet Feet at Lakeside Village on Tues, Feb. 2 & Wed, Feb 3 from 4pm until 7pm. (Please note: There will be no packet pickup on Thursday)
Online registration will close at 8PM Thurs, Feb 4
Race day - Fri, Feb 5 - Packet pickup and race day registration (if spots are still available) will start at 5:00pm until 6:30pm in Publix Charities Park next to Common Ground Playground.
The race starting line is on Lake Hollingsworth at the parking lot (next to the Lakeland Country Club) which is a 1/4 mile walk on Buckingham Ave from race day packet pickup. If you pickup your packet at Fleet Feet, you may go directly to the starting line on race day (Be sure to wear your bib number). If you register or pick up you packet on race day, you should allow time to walk the 1/4 mile from registration to the start line. The race will start at 7pm.
Awards: Male and Female. Overall, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+) and 3 deep in the standard 5 year age groups (9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, up to 80+)
Finisher medals awards for those who cross the finish line!
Don't wait to register! Shirt sizes are guaranted if preregistered before Jan 1, 2027. Shirts and sizes “as available” thereafter.
