
Tune-Up at LCU is a running race on October 3, 2026 in Lubbock, TX, with entry fees from $3 to $15.
Cross country meet offering Elementary through Varsity divisions, and Community 5k. This event is on the cross country course at LCU. HS & JH events will be first, followed by the Elementary Mile and Community 5k at the end. HS & JH registration is done through schools on Milesplit. The 1 Mile and Community 5k sign-ups are on here. For the community 5k and 1 mile, registration will remain open on race morning until 9:45, no exceptions. Bib pick-up can be done anytime from 7 a.m.- 9:45 a.m. race day morning at the timing tent by the finish line. No late exceptions there either. The 1 mile will start promptly at 10:00. The community 5k will start promptly at 10:15.
5k runners are also welcome to run in the high school varsity race if they want to at 8:30, instead of running at 10:15. Anyone who is looking for chance to really compete, this is a great opportunity to get in a fast 5k. You need to let us know ahead of time that you are going to run at 8:30, though, so we can make the switch for you to that division.
