Tukee Trot 5K

The Tukee Trot 5K Run and Walk is back for the 6th annual Ahwatukee community event - a great way to enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends!

The one mile Kid’s Quail Fun Run will again be FREE for the kiddos (and includes a finisher award!)

The Tukee Trot 5K course at Pecos Park is scenic and fast, as well as being great for spectators. This 5K course is USATF certified to an official 3.1 miles and will be chip timed by Race Timers.

The Pecos Park venue is located at the end of 48th street along the Wild Horse Pass reservation, south of Chandler Blvd. Here you will find ample parking, start and finish zones, race-day packet pickup and post-race food and refreshments.

This is a non-profit, community volunteer event with additional proceeds and sponsor donations going to local charities.

All Participants Receive:

• Custom Tukee Trot T-Shirt (5K participants only). Option to select 'NO SHIRT' option at checkout and receive $5 off your registration.

• Finisher awards - Commemorative Tukee Trot full color medal

• Post-Race ‘athlete’s brunch’ (bagels, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

• Water/Gatorade station support

Awards 

Age Group awards for Top Three Overall and in all Age Groups.

Our age groups are the following:  12 & Under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Older

Packet Pick-up Opportunities

You will have two opportunities to pick-up your race packet (bib, chip, event swag, etc):

1.       Pre-Race: Wednesday, November 25th from 3:00 - 7:00pm at TBD
2.       Race Day: Friday Nov. 27th starting a 7:00 AM at Pecos Park pavilion (event location)

Nov 27 9:45 AM - Award Ceremony Begins (approx)

Nov 27 10:00 AM - Road and parking lots fully re-opened

Price Schedule

$35: Aug 1st to Sept 20
$40: Sept 21st to Nov 1st
$45: Nov 1st to Nov 22nd

Note:  5K Youth ages 18 and under is $5 discount. Registration fees apply.

Donate & Hydrate

For every $10 you donate, you can choose to receive a vintage Tukee Trot 16 oz. pint glass. Just add the donation and pint glass purchase selection to your registration or visit the Donate on the webpage. You can also share the local Tukee experience with extended friends and family by gifting the glasses. 

With your help we can continue to support our local community at the lowest 5K prices in the Valley while keeping the 1 mile Quail kids run free to create a special day to remember. Our local charity partners for this year are the Kyrene Foundation and Phoenix Parks special programs.
