The Village of Norridge would love for you to join us for our 2nd annual 5K Reindeer Run and Kids Dash!
Thank you to all of our registrants who helped make last year's inaugural race such a wonderful success. We are thrilled to bring you the 2nd annual race on Saturday December 5, 2026:
* The 5K run/walk will be chip-timed. We welcome everyone, runners and walkers!
* The Kids Dash will be a 1/4 mile untimed fun run, for ages 10 and under.
* In addition to the 5K and Kids Dash, there will be a DJ, face painting, a photo booth, a selfie station, free hot chocolate, and... Santa!
The race begins and ends in the parking lot at the corner of N Ozanam Ave and W Montrose Ave.

Registration Dates and Information
You can register anytime, including in-person on race day. You will receive reindeer antlers and jingle bells for your racing shoes in your packets, and a finisher's medal once you cross the finish line!
If you register by Friday November 13, you will also get your choice of a t-shirt or a winter hat! After Friday November 13, t-shirts/winter hats will be given out only while supplies last.
We are also offering winter hats and thermal mugs as optional add-on purchases (winter hats must be purchased online by November 13)!

The price for the 5K will increase throughout the year, as outlined here:
The price for the Kids Dash is $25, and will not change.
Race Day Schedule
Packet pick-up begins at 8:30 am
Kids Dash begins at 9:30 am
5K Reindeer Run begins at 10 am
Swag - for ALL registrants (5K and Kids Dash)
* All registrants will receive reindeer antler headbands and jingle bells for your racing shoes. Wear them during the race for an extra jolly time!
* All registrants will receive a Finisher's Medal once you cross the finish line!
* Your choice of a t-shirt or winter hat is guaranteed for all registrations received by Friday November 13, 2026. For registrations received after November 13, t-shirts/winter hats are not guaranteed and will be available while supplies last.
* Winter hats can also be purchased for $15 as an extra add-on during online registration, only by Friday November 13.
* "Village of Norridge Reindeer Run"-themed thermal mugs are also available for purchase for $6 as an optional add-on during registration and in-person on race day (race day mug purchases will be cash only).
* Age group awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers in the following categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Packet Pick-Up
Packets will be available for pick-up either:
We will send you an email the Monday before the race (Monday November 30, 2026) with a QR code to bring with you to packet pick-up. This can help expedite check-in, though it is NOT required for check-in!
We will not be able to mail packets; they must be picked up in person either the day before or the day of the race.
