Join us for The Sedalia Beer Mile! In this race participants will run four laps of a standard quarter mile, consuming one 12-ounce serving of beer before each lap for a total of 4 beers in one mile. While the race is timed and awards will be provided for overall male and female winners through 3rd place, the primary goals is having fun while raising money for The Boys and Girls Club. Additionally, there is an option to complete a root beer mile, non-alcoholic beer mile, and a gluten free cider mile to increase enjoyment for all! Four of any thing sound too overwhelming? You and your friends can also create a relay! The race occurs at the beginning of The Local Tap's Oktoberfest in downtown Sedalia, so bring your friends and family and enjoy the day of events.
