Welcome to the the Rockin' Riverfest 5k,10k Half Marathon and Fun Run!
The Rockin' Riverfest is a fun, flat, fast, family friendly event taking place on Saturday Morning July 4th including Finishers Medals, T-Shirts, Swag and the works! The Parade starts at 10:00 this year so run it and stick around for the Parade!
Starting at 7:30am. Race/Run/Jog or Walk starting on the Katy trail through the Shady single track trails right beside the beautiful Missouri river. Pass the water/aid station at mile 1.5 (also mile 4 and 5 for the 10K and double that for the Half)
For registering, you not only get a super fun Race/Run/Walk through the historic district and all the action of Riverfest on the Riverfront, You get a Big Ol' Finishers Medal, Custom Rockin' Riverfest T shirt, (Shirts guaranteed to those that register by June 15) Racers Village Colas, Sports drinks, Race Snacks, Professional race Timing, Instant Results, Timed Splits, Custom Bib Number, and FREE Throne Sport Coffee drinks. The race also includes Free downloadable event pics and finish line video. Awards Ceremony on Podiums with more awards for 1-3rd. Water/Sports drink and Ice at aid stations and Racers Village. 10k and 13.1 see an additional aid stations. Music rocking at racer village and -new this year- hose off and try out the Cold Plunge at the finish line pavillion!
A great way to kick off your July 4th festivities. After the race, stick around and make a day of it enjoying the Parade, Historic riverfront shops, Historic St Charles and all of the Riverfest activities. Bring the Friends and Fam as we will have poster board and markers available so they can make signs and cheer you on!
The July 4th Parade starts at 10 am and is 1 block away.
Custom Rockin' Riverfest awards to top 3 in the following age groups. (1-13,14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,70+) 5k,10k and Half Marathon. Splits are timed with Instant results.
Please consider donating a few bucks to The St Charles School District Cross Country program. 100% of proceeds stay local and go to help keep kids in shoes, jackets, tarps, drinks, and general program support.
Make a holiday of it! "Saint Charles Riverfest is the City's premier Fourth of July Festival featuring live music, great food and drinks, children's activities, a carnival and more. This year will feature a fireworks display on both evenings"
Packet pick up Thursday, July 3rd at Bike Stop Cafe 3-6pm and race morning in Racers Village 6:15-7:15 am.
National Anthem goes at 7:26 am, you go at 7:30!

How long to train: 10–14 weeks. If you're already running consistently, 10 weeks of structured buildup is enough. If you're building from a casual base, give yourself 14.
