Come Run a Track Mile!
On October 25th, we're taking over the track and trails at Bishop Fenwick in Peabody, MA to race! Whether you're new to running or you're already a competitive athlete, come see what kind of time you can throw down! All are welcome. We have a real treat from the organizers of the Bermuda Triangle Challenge: They are giving away *14 FREE trips to Bermuda to run their Butterfield Mile on January 15th in beautiful Hamilton, Bermuda! The free trips will be awarded as follows:
We also have a 5k race on Bishop Fenwick's Beautiful cross country course! Runners who choose the 5k option will be eligible to win one of the 2 raffled trips to Bermuda's race weekend.
Like last year, we are going to randomly select registered runners to receive free trips as well. So even if you're not flirting with a 4:00 mile, you might still take an expenses paid trip to Bermuda! You can find more details on the registration page. Remember, we want to see everyone come out to run the mile in Peabody... but if you happen to run one of the fastest times of the day, or if you get lucky you've got an epic prize coming your way!

10:00am start for the first Mile heat. Heats will be created based on seed times.

Prize details:
Free Race Entry to the Butterfield Mile and any other race under the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge. The event is on Friday, January 15 to Sunday, January 17, 2027. Please refer to the website for details. Flights: Offer up to $600 per person (to be paid through reimbursement only once the athlete has booked their flights). Athletes are not entitled to any balance for flights that are less than $600. Hotel: Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa Bermuda accommodation only based on double occupancy. Length of stay: 4 nights only.
All runners are to arrive on Thursday (January 14) before the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge event and leave on Monday (January 18) after the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge Butterfield Mile event.
Athletes wishing to stay longer and compete in other BTC events will be entitled to free race entry, but accommodation and other extra fees will be incurred by the athlete. There are discount rates at Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa Bermuda and other hotels. Please refer to the website.
The stay does not cover food and drink costs. That is borne by the runner.
Other benefits: The athletes are entitled to free shuttle pass(es) to the Butterfield Mile, but they are to use the shuttles available to the other participants staying at Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa Bermuda. They do not get their own shuttle.They will be entitled to have the main venue at Front Street to leave their bags and have shelter for the Mile race.
