BIKE
Bikes can be dropped off and will be staged at 361 Shore Dr, starting at 6:45am, at the water section egress. The bike section is competed on Township & State secondary roads and a small section of Route 92. It is rolling hills with many turns and various road surfaces (but not dirt). A road or mountain bike can be used for the bike section, non-electric. The bike section will be 20 kilometers. The bike route starts at 361 Shore Drive, at exit of water section (large stone laid lakefront and light blue house with yard for bike staging). Possible New Route Update Pending.
The Bike will start, again, at the water section ending @ 361 Shore Drive (where bikes are to be dropped off). North approx. 1 mile to a right turn on Mason Road (this is the only small sealed gravel surface on the course). Less than a mile to a right turn onto 1006. Less than a mile to a right turn on 1009. Almost 5 miles mostly downhill to a right turn on Rte 92. Less than a mile to a right turn on 1002 (this is an uphill climb @ the turn). About 2 miles to a right on 1001. Only about a hundred yards to a left turn on 1003, in about 1/2 a mile Bear Left Between the 2 halves of Lake Carey and across the small causeway bridge. About 1/4 mile to a right turn uphill @ 4-way intersection onto 1005 to return to the start area & bike drop your bike to enter the one lap run section around Lake Carey
RUN
The run will be one full circuit of the lake ended at the Falcon Timing arch & clock, near the race start area. One lap of the lake is just over 5K. The lake hosts a number of walk/runs at the 5k distance every year. The run is from that start area/bike drop for one full lap of the lake to the finish line at same area.
Special Awards for Fastest Male, Female and Team of Veterans/First Responders and the Fastest Corporate Team entry.
The race is presented by The Moose Lodge #1276 Tunkhannock Chapter, a 501(c)(3), www.mooseintl.org for their link.
The founding drivers of the event are to help promote and assist in the funding of The Ralph V. Martin Family Scholarships and other worthy causes local to Lake Carey and Wyoming or Bradford Counties. Ralph V. Martin Sr. purchased a small cottage on the lake in October 1958. Since then, 4 generations of the Martins have enjoyed the recreation and lake community and want to showcase the value of this natural treasure.

From Endurance Grid
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it’s the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think. Three sports in one race means three movements to train and race day never gets monotonous.
