Welcome to the start of something extraordinary. Special Needs Charity Inc. is excited to host the inaugural The Barn Run on Oct. 18, 2026. Our organization’s mission is to enrich and support the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. For our debut race, we are proud to dedicate 100% of event proceeds to the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, Michigan — a vibrant, intentional community that has provided residential care and unparalleled support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for decades.
Entry Fee: $30 until Sept. 30 (t-shirt guaranteed).
$35 from Oct. 1-16 (t-shirt available as supplies last).
$40 race day, online registration only, t-shirt not guaranteed.
Ages 18 and under will receive a $10 discount off their entry fee, applied automatically during checkout.

Donate $100 and you'll receive a FREE entry! The discounted entry fee for donations of $75 is $25.
Free entry is valid until Sept. 30; then it's a $30 discount off the entry fee with a $100 donation.

3. Your discounted/free entry will be reflected in the cart during checkout.

Awards: Overall winner, Masters, Senior, and top 3 for each age group, Male/Female (12 & under, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+).
Course Info: Trail/road run, but mainly trail. Very scenic along the Red Cedar River. Course map coming soon.
Packet Pickup: Night before the event at The Barn. Times TBD. Morning of the race starting at 8 a.m.
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live and available after the race.
