El propósito del 5K Tamales Run Toy Drive — It’s Back, 2nd Edition es reunir nuevamente a corredores, familias, empresas y miembros de nuestra comunidad en una celebración de salud, unión y generosidad.
Esta segunda edición marca el regreso de una tradición del Valle del Río Grande creada para demostrar que cada paso puede generar un impacto. A través de la recolección de juguetes nuevos y parte de los fondos recaudados, buscamos llevar regalos y alegría a niños de nuestra comunidad durante la temporada navideña.
Queremos que cada participante no solamente cruce una meta, sino que también ayude a crear una Navidad más feliz para un niño. Más que una carrera, es una oportunidad para correr con propósito, fortalecer a nuestra comunidad y recordar que juntos podemos llegar mucho más lejos.
The purpose of the 5K Tamales Run Toy Drive — It’s Back, 2nd Edition is to bring runners, families, businesses and community members together once again in a celebration of health, unity and generosity.
This second edition marks the return of a Rio Grande Valley tradition created to demonstrate that every step can make a meaningful difference. Through the collection of new toys and a portion of the proceeds, our goal is to bring gifts and joy to children in our community during the holiday season.
We want every participant to do more than cross a finish line—we want every runner to help create a happier Christmas for a child. More than a race, this is an opportunity to run with purpose, strengthen our community and remind everyone that together, we can go much farther.
