From the Organizer
Come and join us the morning of Saturday, October 24, 2026, for Slidell's oldest 5K and 1 mile races. Held as part of the Slidell Food & Fun Fest weekend at St. Margaret Mary Church, this annual event is open to participants of all ages. This year’s theme is “Oktoberfest”.
All registered participants will be chip timed.
Runners and walkers are welcome for our 1 mile event. To avoid lengthy road closures, only those participants likely to complete a 5K in 50 minutes or less should register for the 5K event. The 5K and 1 mile events are run during the same time frame; a participant may not register for both events.
Children 4 and under need not register, but they may. Unregistered children will not receive a race bib, are not entitled to any race awards or giveaways, and will not be chip timed.
Persons 5 and over who are not registered are not considered race participants and will not be allowed on the courses during the races.
