From the Organizer
Join the fun at the 2nd Annual Slide-Splash Water Park Triathlon!
Get ready to make a splash at the most exciting and family-friendly event of the summer — the Slide-Splash Water Park Triathlon held at the Water Park at Wild Island! Perfect for participants of all ages and athletic levels, this one-of-a-kind triathlon blends water park thrills with lighthearted fitness fun.
The triathlon kicks off with a splash as racers zoom down a super fun water slide to launch their journey. From there, it’s time to dry off and hit the pavement for a 1-mile run through the park grounds — whether you jog, walk, or dash, it’s all about enjoying the ride! Finally, the event wraps up with a relaxing (or competitive!) "swim" through the lazy river, where tubes and floats are not only allowed but encouraged.
Your favorite bathing suit, high-fives, and laughter are strongly recommended. Whether you're competing for fun, cheering from the sidelines, or splashing alongside the kiddos, this triathlon promises unforgettable memories for the whole family.
Dive in and join us — it’s not about the fastest time, it’s about the best time!
100% percent of the proceeds will go to the Sierra Endurance Sports for the amazing work they do!
Your registration includes admission into the park and provides access to all features used in the race. The water park will also be closed to the public during the event. Please note, children need to be at least 42 inches tall to ride the water slide (Zulu Slide) that is involved in the triathlon.
Children age 17 and under need to be accompanied by a parent, who is also a paid participant, for the entire event.

Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think. Three sports in one race means three movements to train and race day never gets monotonous.
