From the Organizer
This is an event that seeks to raise awareness for mental health, highlighting the importance of eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide, and seeks to give hope!
We're coming together to show each other support and walk/ run/ hang out with a common purpose of giving hope for those fighting the battle and for those who have loved and lost.
Join us in Nebraska City's beautiful historical Arbor Lodge State Park on Memorial Day, at 9 a.m. to kick off the event. Walk or run at your own pace on our pre-determined route through Arbor Lodge... or blaze your own path! The Shine Your Light Mental Health Awareness Event is not timed or distanced; stay and participate as long as you are able.
We will have supportive literature and a raffle. Support staff will be on hand until 11 a.m.
Pre Packet pickup day before event details will be announced. Day of event packet pickup starts at 8am at Arbor Lodge Whispering Bench. T-shirt not guaranteed at event if registering after early bird ends.
