AdaptiSport, Bakersfield's first and only fully accessible wellness center for adults with disabilities set to open in late 2025/early 2026, is thrilled to announce our first annual SCREAMER RUN on the evening of Saturday, October 4, 2025. All are encouraged to join us for this fright-filled event on the main campus of CSU Bakersfield. Help us bring awareness to AdaptiSport and raise critical funds to bring this project to fruition and ensure a bright, healthy future for ALL members of our beloved community! A small portion of proceeds will go to the CSUB Students with Disabilities program.
Join us at sundown on Saturday, October 4th and be prepared to RUN FOR YOUR LIFE in our 5K, 10K, or Kids Treat or Treat Run (approximately 1 mile). Whether you are a competitive runner or just down for a scary good time, you don't want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience. The first annual SCREAMER RUN will feature fright-filled race routes, competitive awards, music, food, raffle prizes, vendor fair, a beer garden, event swag, a special kids' zone, a TEAM COMPETITION, and more.
This event will be held at California State University of Bakersfield 9001 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield Ca 93309. Start/finish will be at alumni park located in Don Hart East Dr. in between Stockdale Hwy and Kroll Way.
