RESULTS: Timed Race Results
Walk, jog or run! Join us on Harbor Dr. to celebrate MLK weekend in a healthy fashion with a scenic Embarcadero experience! This 5K Walk / Fun Run celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream to improve the equal participation of all in healthcare, education and workforce development. We're inspired to help move our community toward a more healthy way of living. What better way to do that than with the objective of completing a 5k. Bring your family and friends (human and furry) to the Embarcadero and get moving with us! See you at the starting line!
We hope to inspire those who have never taken part in a 5K walk / run, to participate. This event promotes health, fitness, and a general sense of well-being through a fun and engaging manner.
"School" option with age based pricing intended to be free for school age kids is active.
We encourage you to post your photos on Social Media with #SDMLK5k.
Registration includes the following.
- Official 5K walk / fun run Shirt.
- Medal
- Runners Bib
- Chip race timing
5K details:
- Start Line Location: 1492 N. Harbor Dr. (Corner of Harbor Dr. and Ash, near Waterfront Park.)
- Start Time: 9:00AM
- Finish Line Location: (Corner of Harbor Dr. and Ash, near Waterfront Park.)
- Scenic 3.1-mile course down Harbor Dr., crossing into Seaport Village continuing along the harbor coastline and looping around back to the start.
- Timing offered.
1 Mile Cruiser Walk / Run:
- Start Line Location: 1492 N. Harbor Dr. (Corner of Harbor Dr. and Ash, near Waterfront Park.)
- Start Time: 9:00AM
- Finish Line Location: 1492 N. Harbor Dr. (Corner of Harbor Dr. and Ash, near Waterfront Park.)
- Scenic 1-mile course down Harbor Dr., crossing into Seaport Village to loop around back to the start.
- No timing.
Virtual participation: (Anytime & Anyplace!)
For participants who can’t make it to the site but still want to participate and benefit the San Diego Alpha Foundation (501c3)! Please sign up with the virtual option. Complete your distance anytime & anyplace during race week and post your results to the virtual leaderboard. Your race shirt and medal will be mailed to you within 2 weeks of the event date.
For submission of your results, email them to roger@fusiontiming.com.
Race packet pickup:
