Montana Events Foundation is excited to host the 9th Annual Run The Boo 5K & Kids Race in Dillon, Montana. This is a Halloween themed race so dress up in your best costumes and run with us. The 5K & Kids Race will start and finish at the Beaverhead Brewing Company. The race is a fundraiser for Montana Events Foundation Scholarship. All of the money raised through registrations will be donated to the University of Montana Western Foundation and each year we will give out scholarships to qualifying UMW students.
Race Day Information
We want to thank you for registering for the 9th Annual Run The Boo 5K and Kids Race in Dillon, Montana on October 31, 2026. We are excited to see all the racers in their costumes. Please read all of the information below.
PACKET PICK-UP is morning of race- October 31, 2026- 9-10AM at Beaverhead Brewing Company- 218 S. Montana St. Dillon, Montana. All participants must check in before the race to get a timing bib. Please plan ahead and allow enough time to check in and warm up for the race.
5k starts at 10AM - 5K starts and finishes at Beaverhead Brewing Company. The course will be on the streets of Dillon.
Kids Race starts at 11AM - Kids Race (1 mile) will start at 11AM at Beaverhead Brewing Company and Finish at Beaverhead Brewing Company. The route will go to North Reeder Street and turn right to Pig Tail Trail and wrap around to W Bannack St. to Montana St. and Finish at Beaverhead Brewing Company.
Award Ceremony will be around 11:30AM, when the Kids Race has finished.
The course will be marked with orange arrows, orange cones and orange painted streets.
We have a no dog policy on the course. Thank you!
