From the Organizer
For 23 years, Run for the STARS has had one simple goal: bringing people together to celebrate and support those with disabilities and their families. Here at College Church, we call those who participate in our disability ministry "STARS," which stands for "Seeking To Always Reflect the Savior." Whether you register to run, walk, or simply make a donation, 100% of the proceeds go to supporting the STARS community. Your participation helps fund scholarships for STARS to attend retreats or summer camps (individually and/or with their families), and also provides a grant to STARS Family Services (a separate 401(c)3), providing job coaching for STARS. Come be part of "More Than a Race" on Saturday, September 19 at 8 a.m. as we run, walk and cheer on the STARS on an all-new course route through the tree-lined streets of Wheaton.
