Rudolph's Revenge 2026 Endurance MTB Challenge

Fast gravel. Deep sand. Technical rock gardens. Rudolph doesn't do easy!

Rudolph's Revenge returns for its 13th year on Saturday, December 12, 2026! This North Texas endurance mountain bike tradition delivers a little bit of everything, combining blistering-fast gravel roads, challenging sandy multi-use trails, and some of the toughest technical singletrack in North Texas.

Starting at FM428 Greenbelt Park in Aubrey, Texas, riders will roll out across approximately five miles of fast gravel before entering the scenic, sandy multi-use trail leading toward Isle du Bois State Park.

Once inside the park, the real fun begins! Riders will tackle the challenging singletrack of Isle du Bois, including its notorious technical rock gardens. After conquering the singletrack, it's back through the sandy Greenbelt and onto the gravel for the final push to the finish line.

Whether you're racing for the podium or simply looking to conquer one last epic challenge before the end of the year, Rudolph's Revenge is guaranteed to test your fitness, bike-handling skills, and determination.

Two Distances. One Epic Adventure.

30-Mile Challenge

Don't let the shorter distance fool you! Expect roughly 1,500 feet of climbing, challenging terrain, and plenty of opportunities to test your technical riding skills. Estimated completion time for competitive riders is just over two hours.

40-Mile Challenge

Looking for a little more punishment? The 40-mile option turns up the difficulty with approximately 2,500 feet of elevation change and an estimated three hours of racing for competitive riders. More miles, more climbing, and more opportunities to earn your revenge!

Both routes combine three distinctly different riding experiences:

• Fast Gravel: Open up the throttle on the wide, fast gravel roads of the Greenbelt.
• Sandy Multi-Use Trail: Find your line, maintain your momentum, and navigate the ever-changing sandy conditions.
• Technical Singletrack: Challenge yourself on the rocky, demanding trails of Isle du Bois State Park, including the expert rock garden sections.
