From the Organizer
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to break the stigma surrounding mental health and emphasize the importance of well-being. At Recovery Through Repetition (RTR), we recognize the deep connection between mental health, recovery, and movement. Inspired by this, we are proud to host the 2nd Annual RTR 5K for Recovery, an event dedicated to Shining a Light on Mental Health by raising funds and awareness for those in recovery while promoting the mental and physical benefits of fitness.
RTR is a nonprofit organization that provides a safe and supportive space for individuals affected by addiction, offering fitness classes, community involvement opportunities, and scholarships for career development. We believe that movement is medicine—not just for the body, but also for the mind and spirit. Through this 5K, we aim to inspire individuals to prioritize both their mental and physical well-being while supporting those on their journey to recovery.
The 2nd annual RTR 5K for Recovery will be a powerful event, bringing together runners, walkers, and supporters who share our belief in the power of fitness, fellowship, and service.
