Rowayton Turkey Trot

A Thanksgiving tradition featuring 5 km and 1 mile courses running through beautiful Rowayton CT.

Race Day Instructions

Race Location/ Start: The race starts at 9 AM in front of the Rowayton Community Center., 33 Highland Ave. With another record turnout this year we advise everyone to be there at least 15 minutes early.

Parking: Parking is at Graham Capital, across the street from the Community Center at 40 Highland Ave.,or Rowayton Elementary, just down the hill from the Community Center Map Here

Start Procedure: Please do not crowd the start. Once again, we will have chip transponders at the start that should pick up your time when you cross the start, so you get an official start to finish ("chip") time. So no need to rush to the start once the horn is blown. Also, those in the 1-Mile should line up at the back of the pack to allow the 5K runners sufficient room to begin their run.

Race Day Registration: All race day registration is being done electronically. Please register here on your computer or phone. There is no guarantee of same-day bib pickup (see below) but you can run without a bib if you are registered, however you will not receive a time.

Race Day Bib Pick Up: We do not guarantee race day packet pickup. The earlier you get there the more likely you are to get your bib. Bib pickup opens at 7:45 AM. If you have registered, you are free to run without a bib, however you will not receive a time. 1 Mile runners do not need bibs, but there are vanity #1 bibs if wanted. We strongly suggest picking up your bib during one of our early check-in sessions. You can of course pick up bibs for friends and family as well.

Early Bib Pick Up: We strongly encourage you to avoid the race day crush by checking in early. We will hold three sessions, Saturday 10 AM to noon at the Rowayton Community Center and on Tuesday and Wednesday the 24th and 25th, from 3 to 6 PM at Connecticut Running Company, Brook Street, Darien.
