From the Organizer
The River Fest 5K is sponsored by the New Cumberland Festival and Parade Committee and raises money for the Oak Glen High School Physical Education Department. This is a city road course that starts on North Chestnut Street (across from Hines Park Gazebo) in New Cumberland, heads south on Rt. 2 past the New Cumberland Baseball Fields and returns to start line. We will hold race day festivities at Hines Park Gazebo. We have a run, walk, stroller, and kids division. We will also be giving an award to the team with the most participants. The Run Category is for participants who want to run or run/ walk, and the Walk category is walk ONLY (no running allowed). Please keep this in mind when registering for your event.
