From the Organizer
Runners, start your engines!
Bull City Running is proud to present the Occoneechee Speedway Relay! Relay teams of two or four people will have the chance to race around the last remaining dirt track in NASCAR history!
Details:
Teams of 2 or 4 can participate. The relay will consist of 20 laps (each lap is just over 1 kilometer) making the total distance roughly 13.5 miles. Just like pit row, teams will line the field as their teammates race around the track awaiting the signal to hand-off, which can happen in any order and after any given number of laps. There is no required distance for each runner, nor is there a specific order of hand-off that has to be followed. It’s quite simple: your team needs to complete a total of 20 laps to finish the relay!
