More than a race. A reason to show up.
More Than a Race—A Reason to Show Up.
Lace up your shoes and join New Hope Community Outreach Services for our first Annual 5K Walk/Run Fundraiser!
This exciting community event is about more than crossing the finish line. It is an opportunity to come together, promote health and wellness, and raise critical funds that will enable NHCOS to expand its reach and make an even greater impact in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.
Our community impact is both measurable and substantial. Since 2020, NHCOS has served 285,000 individuals, approximately 72,000 families, and distributed 1.6 million pounds of food, 170,000 baby diapers and wipes, 25,000 rolls of toilet paper, and 20,000 pieces of clothing to neighbors in need.
Your participation helps us build on this work. Every registration, donation, and step taken provides additional resources that allow us to serve more families, respond to urgent needs, and continue offering hope and practical support throughout the community.
Whether you are an experienced runner, a casual walker, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend the day with family and friends, everyone is welcome. When you walk or run with us, you are not just completing a 5K—you are helping NHCOS continue changing lives, strengthening families, and creating a greater impact, one step at a time.
What to Expect
Get ready for a high-energy, family-friendly event filled with movement, community, and purpose:
You do not have to be a competitive runner to participate. Walk, jog, run, or move at your own pace—the goal is to show up and make a difference.
Make Your Impact Go Even Further
Your participation can extend far beyond the 5K course. During registration, you will have the opportunity to:
Create a personal fundraising page
Invite family members, friends, and coworkers to support your walk or run
Join an existing team or create a team of your own
Represent your church, business, school, organization, or community group
Make an additional donation to support the mission of NHCOS
Every registration, social-media share, donation, and fundraising team helps us reach more families.
